Get your website noticed with blog posts.
It really is as simple as getting a blog and hiring a writer like me.
In order to compete in today's adult market it becomes necessary to have one or all of the following:
Obviously finding a micro-niche is a little more difficult than the rest, but it is worth spending a little time over. You can make a lot of money by finding the search terms that even a small amount of people are looking for. For example you might have a big tit site but find it really hard to get up there with the big ones (excuse the pun), and this is not surprising. However, if you decided to have an Asian big tits site, then you narrow it a little; if you choose to have an Asian, lesbian, big tit site, then you narrow it even more. Catch my drift?
A blog network is a good idea if you have the time to set up lots of different blogs. With this you can point them all to websites of your choice; again, the less obvious niche the better.
[This makes me think that if it were not for people like us in the adult industry, trying to make money, then there wouldn't be rare micro-niches like black, big-titted, lesbian, foot worshiping, anal fisting BDSM fetishes. Maybe we are perverting the world? Oh well!]
With a blog network comes a lot of writing, and you'll have to be prepared to spend days on end writing tedious blog posts; unless of course you want to hire a writer to do it for you?
But even one blog can be very, very useful. It might take a little more time for the big search engines to pick you up naturally, but it's certainly worth it. However, to make a single blog work well for you, you must update it regularly and you must have original content in a reasonable quantity. I strongly recommend daily blog posts, or at least large, weekly posts.
Larger blog posts that contain more keywords and phrases are the obvious choice, but the temptation here will always be to write an absolute load of drivel, simply to save time or money. This is a bad move. Not only are your blogs going to be boring (yes, some people do read them!), but if you use a cheap writer, you run the risk of having duplicate content, or at best, content that doesn't make sense.
Don't neglect your blogs.
