When it comes to an affiliate blog, it's all good and well having lots of traffic, but if you're trying to sell them the wrong stuff it could be a complete waste of time. It's a good idea to try and learn what traffic you're getting.
For example, I have a very simple blog where I post
free erotic fiction for web surfers to read. It's primarily a sales tool for potential clients where they can go and read my stories (since this is where I specialise). However, I do have a few affiliate links on there too, and I write the odd blog post now and then that doesn't pertain to erotic fiction at all.
Now, I happen to know that the majority of visitors to
my erotic fiction blog are women. If I try to sell them porn that guys want to look at all the time I'm not going to make a sale from my affiliate links at all am I? That's why I put links on there with naked guys and guys on webcam; this way I can attempt to get them interested in some porn action after reading one of my stories.
It's simple really, and all you need is the right adult web content. If you get it right and you satisfy your traffic you'll make a sale (eventually!) It takes some time to build up the traffic, but with the right original
adult written content in your blogs, written often enough you can make some money in no time at all.
You're welcome!
